Model UN 2
Reflection of Question:
The most important thing i learned in Model UN 2 this year is about how i can write really good position papers and actually get awards for them because for this year in the Global Classrooms i had received an award for best position paper yet again. And we had a all school simulation where I also received an award for best position paper. My position paper writing skills can be added to global issue in stating how a country feels about a topic and what they will do for that global issue even if its a verbal help, or actually helping it can show how a country feels about it and solutions it can provide for any country that needs help.

10th Grade Reflection
10th Grade Reflection
My sophomore year has affected me mentally but as well physically, because well first of all I was able to think faster, out of the box sort of way in a faster pace, and physically by getting stronger by playing soccer every day to increase my potential and skills overall. This year I have seen some new things, and people so I do hope I end this year with a bang. Something that I saw from myself different from this year and last year was that I am a bit more open to people. Last year I was quieter didn’t want to do much as in activities for example if there was an activity with a lot of people in it I wouldn’t try to talk to any administrators of it. For this year already I have done some community service hours, and I get more involved in class. What I encountered that was very different and unexpected was all the work I had for every class. The work would just keep on accumulating and not stop unless I spent hours of every day finishing it all up. I would have at least two projects for my A-day classes and two others for my B-day classes. But from that jus regular homework would be the after kill, once I would finish my projects I then had to do my regular homework already late at night he earliest at ten at night. Something that many people have misunderstood about me is that they thought I was more of a quiet person and didn’t want to get involved into activities. My reason why they might have had that assumption may have been by the way I look or the way I reacted to others. But now for my sophomore year I am way more open to others and like to get involved with activities inside and outside of school. My 10th grade year so far has been pretty steady with work, projects and presentations which does get on my nerves but hey I need to be college ready before college.

9th Grade Reflection
I came to International High School at Sharpstown as my last resort because I had other schools that I could have gone such as Bellaire, Lamar, and Carnegie. Since my parents did not want to provide transportation, I pretty much was stuck into coming to International. My first thought of this school was that it was very small and it wasn’t on my favorite’s part of me. The classes that I had taken in my freshmen year were Theatre Arts, Chinese 1, English 1, AP Human Geography, IPC, Geometry, JROTC, and Model UN 1. From these classes I was very successful in Theatre Arts, JROTC, and Model UN 1. In Theatre Arts, I had a very high grade throughout the year for my effort, and work in the class and with other students and it turned out that I memorized a ten minute scene for my final. For JROTC, I was highly successful that I became a platoon leader which is the person that commands a group for a period. In Model UN 1, I didn’t actually take the class for a full year but the in the second semester when I started I enjoyed the class and I felt like a natural learning about global issues and debating them. My most memorable moments in my 9th grade year was I think in the last day of school when almost the whole school went to Kemah, for a full day field trip. The whole day was just about having fun and not worrying about anything, the funniest part of it was that when we had a group of friends, I think eight people, we went to go eat. Once the bill came to us we were shocked since we had to pay about one hundred and thirty dollars. Another memorable moment well day was when I went to my first Model UN competition and went against other school and debated about countries position to a global issue. The best thing about that was that in the end of it, my partner and I had received an award for best position paper of our committee.
